Most of the groups events are now scheduled to start on Friday mornings but check the event list or calendar for actual dates and times. Where possible a car share scene will be operated starting at WMCC at 9.30am  but members are welcome to meet at the event venues if that is more convenient.

New members are always welcome. You don't need a vast knowledge of birds, there is always someone to help you.

We are a small friendly group who visit local birding spots once a month, usually Essex Wildlife Trust reserves on the first Friday morning of the month.

In March we meet at WMCC at 9.30am to visit Abberton.

April we will visit. Fingringhoe. Perhaps we may hear the first of the nightingales.

May back to Abberton mainly for the nightingales. June we will visit Hanningfield.

Please be aware that in the past some departures have been VERY prompt so please allow plenty of time to reach the start point.
