CAR PARKING AT SANDON PARK and RIDE
Keep your park and ride bus ticket after leaving the bus on return to the car park as you will need to scan the ticket at the car park barrier soon, [from 6th March 2026] to exit the car park. There are leaflets available at the car park:

CHELMSFORD PARK AND RIDE -SERVICE REMINDER
Essex County Council have issued a reminder that the OFFICIAL Sandon Park and Ride service is now route 700 operated by First Bus; the fare is £ 3.10 (£1.60 concessionary pass holders) this covering both parking and a return trip to the city centre; the ticket will also activate the car park barrier.
There is a second commercial service running (route 701) this is no longer connected with the Council Park and Ride scheme. Parking charges are NOT included in the fare!
When the Park and Ride buses stop running tickets will be accepted on the following First evening services which will stop at the car park:
Service 31 at 20:10, 21:10, 22:15 and 23:10
Service 336 at 20:40, 21:40 and 22:40
These services operate Monday to Saturday.

Service 333 altered to go via Oak Road Estate in Heybridge and timetable revised on all days of the week.
